Wanted & Needed: Active supporters of The ArchAngel Institute

Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear.

We have added a donate button at the right and requests for assistance to this website because we believe that many will want to join us in our mission of confronting a government dedicated to silencing the voice of opposition while adopting increasingly repressive measures.

Here is more explanation . . . bluntly stated and dead honest, just like Harry Truman advised.

December 8 began a brand new chapter in the history of the Institute, building upon the momentum of the previous victories in 2009 and revealing our identity as a fellowship of political/religious dissidents.

One of those victories was over the Internal Revenue Service.

They did not like our focus upon Christian dissidence.  They put some rather direct and stilted questions to us after a time of abnormal delay, letting us know that they were not certain we were “objective” enough to warrant tax-deductible status.

Some advised up to roll over and say what they wanted to hear. That is not how we roll.

We instead answered here and then with this post seeking “balance.”

We called the IRS out.

They folded their hand, here, and you can now donate to our projects with the same benefit as donating to your favorite national pro-life or Christian legal ministry. More than that, we are now prepared to help other Christian ministries who face the same official discrimination that we stared down.

If you want to encourage such controversial behaviour on the part of the ArchAngel Institute then hit the button on the right or send check s to the ArchAngel Institute, 827 Webster Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802. Call (800) 399-4620 or (260) 423-1771.

Speaking of  your favorite national pro-life or Christian legal ministries, we wrote most all of them in August and let them know that we were headed toward litigation with the State of Indiana.   We asked for assistance, aid, comfort, whatever they could offer.  We asked for grants or friendship or advice or prayers or a portion of their “tithe” to get us past a challenging hour and into federal court.  We let then know that our economic ship would hit the rocks before we could get into court — which it did.

Most ignored our letter.  Some put us on their mailing list seeking donations.  A few wrote some nice spiritual platitudes stating that we should, in the words of Lone Watie, “endeavor to perservere.”  A few let us know that they would pray for us.

Most of these same ministries had been asked to aid us earlier as well — in May when we re-opened the 18 year old federal that visited a life-crippling  injunction on 827 Webster Street and an order that our Executive Director and Pastor Wendell Brane pay $61616 directly to the Webster Street abortionists.  We targeted that decades old abortionist-protecting order for reversal.  The  Christian public interests showed little interest.    Some called it unwinnable.  Most just ignored us.

We will admit that the odds were quite long — but the ArchAngel Institute brought home the victoryHere and here. (Thanks be to God!)

While many “culture warriors” are more comfortable on the porch discussing other warrior’s battles,  the ArchAngel Institute is not afraid to get out and run with the big dogs — indeed, we are now running against some of the biggest and baddest dogs on the block.  We have the scars to prove it. Our present litigation efforts are unmasking an anti-Christian agenda at the very heart of State government in Indiana.  It is like something out of a Peretti novel.  More details to follow.

Millions are sent to the Christian public interest law firms a year, and their leaders are well paid.

We are a lean,  mean , successful litigation and public policy, Culture of Life advancing machine that needs funds now to press forward on Brown v. Bowman and a planned filing with the United States Supreme Court in 2010. (Stay tuned for details.)  Your donations are used wisely and on nothing frivolous.  No golden parachutes here — our Exec Dir does not even have retirement — or any benefits.  And far less as a salary than he made working as Deputy Attorney General for the State of Kansas or as Senior Litigation Counsel with the Center for Law & Policy at the AFA.

Just a basic salary to keep him fighting the good fight and to keep his family housed and fed.

Please  let the ArchAngel Institute  turn your dollars into ammunition to fight crucial battles worthy of a scene from The Devil’s Advocate. We give you our pledge that that your funds will result in more action, dollar per dollar, than any now going to  your favorite national pro-life or Christian legal ministry.

And we pledge that you will be able to read all about it right here.

We need that ammunition asap, so if you are motivated then please hit the button on the right or cut out the middle men and send check s directly to the ArchAngel Institute, 827 Webster Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802. Call (800) 399-4620 or (260) 423-1771.
