The ArchAngel Institute is BLESSED!!!

Wednesday, October 8th, 2008

Bishop John D’Arcy of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend spent more than an hour at 827 Webster Street today. He imparted a blessing on the ArchAngel Institute and the Brown family!

The means very much to the ArchAngel Institute Board of Directors and people of good will. Bishop D’Arcy did not merely come in and impart a blessing. He spent much time in discussion, listening attentively as I (Bryan) laid out the history and future plans of the Institute.

The Bishop seemed particularly interested in Retta Kohrman’s dedication to the post abortion healing ministry at the Institute and our daily prayer schedule.   More on both in the next posts.

After more than an hour of discussion the very good Bishop then prayed with us and blessed every room in the Institute, asking that we fulfill the purposes of God. Holy Water was liberally applied to all surfaces! A prayer for repentance and healing was said in the former procedure rooms.  We closed with the Angelus.

THANK YOU BISHOP!!! May God continue to work through you for the good of us all and all of His Church.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!

Bryan J. Brown steps down from ArchAngel Institute Board

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008

It is a changing of the guard at the ArchAngel Institute.

In the first board meeting after the one year anniversary of the Institute, the Institute’s incorporator and founder, Bryan J. Brown, has stepped down from the Board of Directors.

It is time for the Institute to take off on its own and establish its own personality,” noted Brown, who assured the remaining Board members that he will continue on as Executive Director at least through the summer.

A new Board member has been elected to the Board and will be introduced on this site in two weeks, when her appointment becomes effective.

“This is a positive development for the Institute,” Brown further stated, “as that it assures all that the Board is truly independent and truly focused on the mission of the Institute.

The mission of the ArchAngel Institute and its three divisions are found at the angelname tiles found near the top of this page.

The Institute will update those on its mailing list with more information later in the summer. To get on the Institute’s mailing list drop by 827 Webster Street, mail to the same (Fort Wayne, In 46802) or email us at archangelinstitute@gmail.com.

25_11_2003_1407.jpgDear friend of the Institute,

Re: January 26 Open House

Happy New Yearfrom the ArchAngel Institute, Incorporated  and from me, Bryan J. Brown, the executive director of the Institute!  The Institute is an Indiana nonprofit corporation headquartered in Fort Wayne’s former abortion clinic at 827 Webster Street.  I am a Hoosier who wandered out of Indiana seventeen years ago  – in the aftermath of  our collective effort to confront the residents of 827 Webster Street regarding their evil practices.

For many years my prayers had been to return to Fort Wayne.  My wanderings since the abortion industry drove me out of town took me to pro-life battlefronts and courtrooms in Wichita, Virginia Beach, Tupelo and Topeka.  I have worked with the ACLJ, the American Family Association, Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline and pro-family activists across the nation.  As fine as those assignments were, I prefer life in the Fort.  It is great to be back among family and friends!  It is quite ironic that I get to return to the Fort to office in the enemys former HQ!  I thank our Heavenly Father for answered prayers.

You are hereby invited to visit the former abortion clinic, now called the Institute, during our open house on January 26, 2008, immediately following the March for Life rally.  We are having our first open house since setting up shop in the former abortion clinic immediately after the rally and all afternoon.  We will serve hot drinks and explain our vision for the ArchAngel Institute during the open house.

Please consider dropping by our website in the near future.  I’ve been posting every other day since December 8, and plan to keep that pace up into the new year.  Point your browser toward www.archangelinstitute.org  andwww.flythecorridor.comto learn more about the ArchAngel Institute.  Those without net access can call (800) 399-4620 for updates and to leave messages.

My prayers since leaving the Fort had been for a post from which I can fully engage the Culture of Death.   I now have that post.  I have been through a seventeen training program in Christian Activism!  I have returned to the Fort to advance the Culture of Life from 827 Webster in the same zeal with which its former occupants advanced the Culture of Death. Please come to the Institute during the open house to hear of the Board’s plans to advance the Culture of Life from within a former place of death and destruction. (The building was exorcised and blessed on May 19.  See  PASTOR WENDELL BRANE’S DEDICATION MESSAGE for details.)

I am posting opportunities to partner with the Institute on the website and toll-free line, including prayer requests.  Merely click on the aiding and abetting category on the website for more information.  Click on the “Advent 2007″ category to review how the Institute helped 827 Webster Street do penance by celebrating, through sacred art, internet postings and music, the birth of our Lord, Savior and King, Jesus the only Christ.

This next year is an important one for the pro-family movement, and we do well to make a good showing at public events such as the March for Life before “Super Tuesday.” Many commentators are scouring the land seeking evidence of the demise of the Christian Right and the pro-life movement.  It may be that the Christian Right is being shaken to its core, and probably rightly so.  We simply cannot abandon the abandoned babies and abandoned women while the relationship between faith and politics are reconsidered.   A strong showing at the 2008 March for Life sends the message that there are yet multitudes willing to stand against the silent holocaust.  A weak showing strengthens the hand of those advancing the Culture of Death.  Please plan to be downtown January 26 and please invite your friends, family and church to rally with us as we mark the 35thanniversary of the Supreme Court’s most disastrous ruling.

walk_in_womb1.jpgAllen County Right to Lifes program starts at high noon at the Scottish Rite Auditorium (Berry & Fairfield).  It is followed by a March to the federal courthouse (where my previous life in the Fort ended!) and then culminates in the Silent No More Awareness Event. Please plan to attend ACRTL’s Rally, the March, and the Silent No More program — and then drop by 827 Webster Street sometime afterward.  (The Institutes open house will begin immediately following the rally and continue until 4:00 p.m.)

How to navigate this site

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

catalina-pby-03.jpgAllow me to file the ArchAngel flight plan for the next three weeks . . .

The ArchAngel Institute’s site is now or soon will be focused upon three subjects:

1.  The work of the Institute.

2.  The headquarters of the Institute.

3.  The management of the Institute.

Prior to this week, this site pretty much tracked the unfolding of the above three and then celebrated Advent.  The Institute focused upon great Christian art during Advent, choosing to spend Advent focused upon Jesus, the very important reason for the season, rather than focusing on any of the three categories above.

Enjoy our Advent celebration by clicking on the Advent 2007 category to the right.  Find therein some wonderful art and thought-provoking discussion.

mariner-martinbpm-5.jpg

Between now and the beginning of the Easter season (Lent begins very early this year — as in on February 6) the Institute will focus on numbers 1 & 3 above.  Find more than some information on number two above on this site, and especially at “Fly the Corridor” above.  You will also find information on the headquarters under Advent 2007.

The very best way to get more information on the headquarters of the Institute is to come to our OPEN HOUSE immediately following Allen County Right to Life’s March through Fort Wayne on Saturday, January 26, 2008.  We have made some progress toward the goal of refitting the building as a platform for the Culture of Life, and want to demonstrate our resolve to continue that process while inviting pro-lifers to partner with us in that worthy endeavor.

Please come to our open house.  More important than that, please march, either in the Fort or elsewhere, to mark the 35th anniversary of that horrid piece of judical activism entitled Roe v. Wade.  We dare not sleep quietly while tyranny rules the nation.consolidated_pby-5a_jato.jpg
